ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, was traveling in the company of Bilal[1]. Bilal wanted to perform the call to prayer, so the Messenger of God said, "Wait until it becomes cooler." A while later, he wanted to perform the call to prayer, and the Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, "Wait until it becomes cooler to perform the noon prayer (2)." He said, "We waited until we saw the shadow of the hills (which implies that the main heat of noon had subsided)." Then Bilal performed the call to prayer and he (The Prophet) prayed. The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, 'Indeed, the intensity of heat is from the exhalation of Hell, so delay the noon prayer until it becomes cooler.'" (1) Bilal: One of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of God be upon him) and the first Mu'athen in Islam (the one who performs the call to prayers). (2) Second prescribed prayer of the day. ”
